Wooden Keepsake Box

The idea for our Wooden Keepsake Boxes came from my desire to store memories in a tidy, pretty way. I have three kids who all bring home treasures from time to time, and while I tuck most of their school papers into their School Memory Books, I sometimes have projects that don't fit. Or I have or medals from their latest Ninja Competitions, or drawings that they made me that can't hang out on the fridge forever.

So I began thinking about keepsake boxes that could hold all these treasures, stand the test of time, and still look good on my shelf.

After some research, I found a company that makes wooden boxes in Idaho. I had them customize a box just for Nuts & Bolts, with "keepsakes" engraved in the sliding lid, slightly rounded edges and a metal nameplate attached to the front. The result is exactly what I had hoped for!

Whether you're looking for a box for your newborn baby so you can hold onto her itty bitty clothes and favorite rattles, or you have older kids that are bringing home project after project, this box is the perfect place to store it all.

*sidenote* Our boxes are beautifully handcrafted from solid pine in Idaho, USA, because Nuts & Bolts believes in fair wages, supporting US workers and our economy, and having a low carbon footprint.
