The Best Meaningful Gifts for Dad This Father’s Day
On a recent visit to my parent’s house, my dad reminded me of his favorite gift I’ve ever given him for Father’s Day. I’ve given probably over 30 Father’s Day gifts to my dad (being that I am almost 40), and it’s no surprise that his favorite was also the most sentimental.
When I was about 15 years old, I bought a book called “Why A Daughter Needs A Dad,” and added notes and photos to the pages that contained reasons that resonated the most for me (this was perhaps a foreshadowing of my future in the memorykeeping business!?).
That book still sits on his dresser in his bedroom, and my dad, who is now well into his 70s, still reads it from time to time.
